New York City: a coalition for accountability waiting to happen

Please sign up

Did you lose a family member or a close friend on September 11th?

Were you a witness or survivor of those horrible events?

Were you exposed to the toxic air from Ground Zero?

Did you serve in the rescue and clean up efforts at Ground Zero?

Did you live, work or go to school in Lower Manhattan on September 11th or do you live there today?

Are you involved in any community organizations, religious groups or other local groups in New York?

Do you have friends who would answer “yes” to any of these questions?

If so, you can play an important role in helping build a broad coalition to be the foundation for courageous local leaders to open a real investigation into the event that changed all of our lives.

Please sign our statement of support, and email us at info@nyccan.org", and let’s work together to finally get the truth and justice that every American deserves.

Unless an unforeseeable revelation causes public opinion to swing overwhelmingly in favor of a new 9/11 investigation, the most likely venue for a new investigation is going to be on the local or state levels.

NYC CAN is dedicated to building a broad coalition of local groups to serve as a foundation for courageous local officials to open a new investigation. Because so many New Yorkers were directly affected the events September 11th, and many continue to suffer, New York City is a coalition for accountability waiting to happen.

The need for coalition to urge local officials to investigate September 11th is more urgent than ever. Talk to your friends in New York and tell them to contact us.

Reaching Out to The City Council

Right now NYC CAN is working with the New York City Council to open an investigation into the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7.

So far, NYC CAN representatives have met with 11 City Council members several of whom now support a new investigation.

Please Contact YOUR council member to let them know you support a new investigation.
